OK, Seriously.
Grey's Anatomy may be my new favorite show. I mean above LOST and Veronica Mars. Above Gilmore Girls and even House. It's been in the top 5 for awhile, but I think it is officially at the top. Seriously.

You may now return to your regularly scheduled squee-fest live journal.

Knitting Olympics Update
Yep - still in it. Lost the will to knit for a few days, but I pushed through and have made up for it this weekend. I am in the final color stripe of the body of the sweater and only have a band of the main color after that. less than 6" to go. Probably more like 4. I will def. be done! I say that, but who knows. Anything can happen. I think the next project will be a sweater for the boy (*does voodeedoo dance against the curse of knitting a sweater for your bf*). I think I sent him a pattern he liked ... but I have to finish the baby blanket for Mary Catherine, first.

Off to knit to Grey's Anatomy.

Knitting Olympics - Day 3
Finished the sleeves!!! Got the stitches cast on and picked up for the body. Not the prettiest sight that picking of of stitches, but its done. Got 1 round knit in pattern. Maybe I have a shot at this thing.

I will charge the batteries for my camera tomorrow and take a pic of the work in progress. of course I said that today, too.

Knitting Olympics - Day 2
Now at 39". Only 3" till the end of the first sleeve, but I have decided that I am sleepy. I should be able to finish the sleeves tomorrow and hopefully move down to pick up the body stitches. YAY! Finished another skein of the MC and 4 color stripes on the first sleeve, so it is going well.

Honestly, I would be further along, but I really slept all day. Sad, but true.

Knitting Olympics - Day 1
Started Tubey out of Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Aran (which is soooooo soft and lovely to work with omginloveiwthit!!). Have to finish it by the 16th when the Olympics end. Got 1 full skein of yarn knitted tonight in just about 3.5 hours - 11.25 inches total knit into this so far. I am hoping to finish a good portion of the top tomorrow and the entire top by Sunday so I can start working on the body which will take the longest, I think with all the color changes. I don't know yet really.

ravenheart430 picked the pattern out of several choices I gave him and I am happy with the choice, so YAY. looking forward to finishing it.

OK - I am a knitting machine right now. I am working on the eyelet blanket for my neice to be Mary Catherine who is due to join us in about 6 weeks.

Also - I have decided to participate in the Knitting Olympics. Originally I was going to knit Sassy Stripes from magknits...but damn it if my LYS doesn't have the yarn in. So now I will either knit Tempting, Tempting II or that other sweater from knitty.com's current issue with the stripes, only in solid. Or maybe I will knit a sweater for my boy cause he is in the cold. Who knows.

There will be an outting to the LYS on Friday (so that I am not tempted to cheat and start early) and then we will watch the opening ceremonies and cast on when the torch is of the lit. So YAYAYAYAYAYAY!!!

Knit fun!
I have been toying with the idea of starting a journal just for my knitting. So, here it is.

Current projects -

Some prezzies I can't talk about yet, but are very fun!
TROGDOR!!!!

TROGDOR is almost finished, he just needs to be assembled and the last of his big beefy arm finished. TROGDOR will be the very good friend of Knithulhu who I knit at the very end of last year as a gift for the boy.
